Press
We welcome all members of the press and count on the media to
work with us to promote and publicize the activities and events of
the Citizen's Coalition. Media representatives are always welcome
and are free to document the proceedings.
We ask only that our activities are accurately documented and that
our agendas are presented with consideration.
The Citizen's Coalition is still in the early stages of design and
has not yet designated its officers and officials.
Any issues that have not been properly submitted before the
Citizen's Coalition at a properly designated meeting cannot be
construed to be the actions of the group.

Communications
The Coalition addressed the Town Council Wednesday, November 12, 2008 concerning the lack of proper communication efforts [Document Here] and requested an Information Officer be appointed.
Though this is a common practice with municipal offices and should not be considered unusual - especially when Quartzsite draws many more people than a town with a population base of 3,000 - 4,000 residents would typically entertain -- the councilmen gave no indication that changes would be forthcoming.
- 'Meet the
Candidates' deemed a huge success
The Quartzsite Chamber of Commerce Hosted 'Meet the Candidates'
- The Meet the Candidates event is a popular and event and
crucial to the success of the candidates.
This event has been significant in Quartzsite for many years, and following the Senior Citizen's Center announcement that they would not be continuing to host the event, the future of the event has been in question.
Thank you, Angelina Masales, for coordinating this event and holding it at the Elementary School!
