A concern for Quartzsite is all that's required for participation. We suggest contacting the Chamber of Commerce to find which committees are addressing which issues within the community.

Q: [How can the Citizen's Coalition benefit me?]
A: [The Citizen's Coalition is intended to represent its members. Those issues which concern you - be they personal or business in nature - who pertain to your citizenship, your property, your concerns as a citizen - are also the concern of others.

We assist you with issues, with education concerning those issues, with providing a forum that encourages open communication concerning our citizenship.]

Q: [Do I have to own property or have a financial interest in Quartzsite to participate in the Citizen's Coalition?]
A: [No: All persons living in or around Quartzsite or who have concerns for those issues happening here are welcome to attend - this list specifically includes vendors.]

Q: [Is the Citizen's Coalition owned by or officially aligned with any other Quartzsite organizations or associations? ]
A: [No: The Citizen's Coalition is a free-standing organization with no allegiance to or alliance with any other group. The group voted to become a member of the Quartzsite Chamber of Commerce so it could utilize the services -- including advertising -- the Chamber offers. Organizers also offered to join the 'Business Chamber.' Only the Quartzsite Chamber of Commerce has responded to date.

A: [Yes: The Citizen's Coalition is designed to accommodate the needs of the people living in or working in or near Quartzsite. In these periods of economic downturns, it's imperative that people work together to improve the Quartzsite experience. As the community grows, so too does the local economy, as well as the number of businesses that will choose Quartzsite to build and to develop businesses.]
